House of Crawfish reminds me of the really popular Boiling Crab restaurants popping up all over the Bay Area. The best food on the menu is ALWAYS going to be the seafood by the pound boiled in special sauce and served to you in a giant plastic bag. I have been here twice and I left very happy and very stuffed both times. The crawfish and shrimp in either the mild sauce or the medium sauce are amazing. Average cost is about $10-12/lb.
This place is on par with Crawdaddy and Boiling Crab in San Jose and is MUCH, MUCH better than Ray’s Crabshack in Newark and Red Crawfish here in the city.
I wouldn’t have known about House of Crawfish if I hadn’t walked by one day. You should definitely check it out..it’s finger lickin’ good!
